The Woollen Woods are back for 2014 and you can help them be even bigger and better!

Earlier this year Cumbrian arts organisation Eden Arts launched its international project, The Woollen Woods, exhibiting it at Acorn Bank, National Trust in North Cumbria. The project featured knitted and crocheted creations from owls to caterpillars, contributed by people though out the UK, Australia and America, and displayed amongst the woods of the National Trust property.

Due to its success, with an approximate 28,000 people walking through those wool-filled woods, Eden Arts are at it again, this time planning to exhibit in the woodlands of Sizergh, National Trust in the spring of 2014.

Eden Arts are keen to display even more new woollen creatures so are encouraging everyone to get involved again!

There are entry forms and free patterns to be downloaded from the website and items have to be sent in by 4 April 2014. If you want to see your woolly critter on display get knitting now!
