Founder of the Old School Club Inma Goodhew said: "Creating something by hand is a wonderful experience - and whether you're young or old learning a new skill can be very rewarding. I came up with the idea for The Old School Club when I was on maternity leave with my first son. I was running some small craft and sewing workshops from my home but couldn't keep up with the demand and soon realised that Battersea needed its own creative space. The Old School Club is a friendly and relaxed space where everyone is welcome - it's about inspiring people and helping them unlock their creative passions."
At the club you will find a wide range of classes for women, men, mothers with babies, children, teenagers, over 50s and professionals. There is also a creche every weekday morning, a cafe and shop selling craft supplies and handmade items and take-home craft kits. To download the Old School Club brochure click here.
The Old School Cub can be found at Unit 141, Battersea Business Centre, 99-109 Lavender Hill, SW11 5QL. Visit www.theoldschoolclub.co.uk for more information.
